Notice of Surplus Land

Council has passed a resolution declaring the following property surplus to the needs of the Township:

Part of Lot 3, Concession D, Geographic Township of Southwold, PIN 35160-0301, shown as PART 1 on PLAN 11R-11265.

The subject lands have been declared surplus to the needs of the municipality in response to the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) requiring the lands for the Highway 3 Twinning Project. An appraisal was completed by the MTO for compensation to the Township for the lands being purchased. Council approved the direct sale process to transfer ownership of the lands to the MTO.
