Volunteering

Volunteers are an asset to our community! The Council of the Township of Southwold is proud to recognize outstanding citizens of our Township.

Each year the following awards are given out:

• The Volunteer Service Award
• The Distinguished Citizen Award
• Mayor's Prestigious Award

These are awarded to Southwold Residents that have contributed in an extraordinary way to their community or the municipality as a whole.

Council adopted a recognition policy on November 9^th, 2009. Nominations for these awards are accepted from the public until June 30^th of each year. The policy is attached to the nomination form below.
