Council

We have regular Council meetings on the second and fourth Monday of every month. There is only one meeting in July, August and December. Please subscribe to our Council Calendar for a full list of dates and updates. Meetings can be joined in person or virtually. To request an invite to join a meeting virtually, please contact the Corporate Services Clerk at 519-769-2010 or by email.

We hold our meetings in Council Chambers at the Township Office in Fingal. Council meetings for August, September, and October 2023 will be held at the Southwold Keystone Complex located at 35921 Talbot Line, Shedden. Our meetings begin at 7:00 PM. Council is comprised of one Mayor, one Deputy Mayor, and three Councillors.

Delegations

Please fill out a delegation request, if you would like to speak at a Council meeting. You must submit the form by 12:00 PM on the Wednesday before the requested Council meeting date. You may submit the form online or in person, at the Township Office.
