The Township of Southwold pursues economic development opportunities in partnership with the County of Elgin. The County hosts an economic development department that is deemed Progressive by Nature. They actively promote the Township and opportunities for businesses and tourism in and around the County. Elgin County is an upper-tier municipality comprised of seven local municipalities with a population of approximately 46,000 people spanning an area of 460,000 acres.

The inventory is designed to assist potential investors, businesses or site selectors in researching and identifying properties for potential new locations, expansion or relocation of their operations to Elgin County.
