Good Friday Office Closure

The Township of Southwold municipal office will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025 in observance of Good Friday. Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For any after hours concerns, please contact the Township office at 519-769-2010 and listen to the prompts. An on-call service will assist you.

Notice of Public Meeting - Building Code Act

It is the intention of the Township of Southwold under Section 7 of the Building Code Act to update the building permit fees. The fees will take effect on May 1st, 2025.

Any person upon request may receive the following information at no cost:

i) An estimated cost of administrating and enforcing the Building Code Act by the principal authority
ii) A copy of the new fees schedule
iii) The rational for imposing or changing the fees.
