Check out Alert Ready to see if your mobile device is compatible. You can also find out when the next test of the Alert Ready system is to take place.
Elgin County has an active Emergency Response Plan focused on emergency preparedness, response, prevention, mitigation, and recovery. This plan is tested on a regular basis, as a requirement of the Emergency Management Act.
